By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms. We've written them in plain English to ensure you understand exactly what to expect from our service.
PhotoOnGifts specializes in creating custom, personalized gifts. Each item is made to order based on your unique designs, photos, and specifications. We operate primarily in Australia and the United Kingdom, with worldwide shipping available.
What makes us different:

Important: Double-Check Before Ordering
Please carefully review your customization, spelling, dates, and photos before submitting. Our preview tool shows you exactly what you'll receive. Once production starts, we cannot make changes to your design.
When you place an order:
- We internally review your order to ensure quality standards
- Once approved, we'll send an order confirmation email confirming production has started
- Your binding contract with us begins when we send the confirmation email
- We reserve the right to decline orders containing inappropriate content or copyright violations
- All prices shown in AUD for Australian customers, GBP for UK customers, USD for US customers, NZD for New Zealand customers, EUR for EU customers, and ZAR for South African customers
- Prices include applicable GST/VAT where required by law
- Shipping costs calculated at checkout based on your location
- No hidden fees - what you see is what you pay
- If we discover a pricing error, we'll contact you before processing

All payments are processed securely with industry-standard encryption. Payment is taken at the time of order to begin production immediately.
You're responsible for ensuring you have the right to use all content you upload:
- Own photos: You're free to use any photos you've taken
- Professional photos: Ensure you have the photographer's permission
- Licensed images: You must own the commercial license
- Text and quotes: Avoid copyrighted material unless you have permission
- Artwork and designs: Must be your own or properly licensed
We Cannot Accept:
Orders containing copyrighted characters (Disney, Marvel, etc.), trademarked logos, celebrity images without authorization, offensive content, or anything that infringes on others' rights. If uncertain, please contact us first - we're happy to advise!
- We only use your uploaded content to produce your order
- Your content remains your property
- We don't share your photos or designs with third parties
- We securely delete uploads after order completion
- We'll never use your images for marketing without explicit permission
As each product is custom-made, production typically takes 1-5 business days. This is separate from shipping time. We'll notify you when your order ships.
- Accurate addresses: Please ensure your delivery address is correct and complete
- Redelivery fees: Incorrect addresses may incur additional shipping charges
- International customs: You're responsible for any import duties or taxes (applicable to US, EU, New Zealand, South Africa, and other international orders)
- Delivery responsibility: Risk transfers to you once delivered to your address
- Someone must receive: Signature may be required for some deliveries
Tip: Ordering for a gift? We recommend ordering at least 2-3 weeks before you need it to allow for production and shipping time.
We stand behind every product we make. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.
60-Day Satisfaction Window
You have 60 days from receiving your order to report any issues. We'll work with you to resolve any problems quickly and fairly.
Our Mistake (100% Free Replacement or Full Refund):
- We printed your design incorrectly
- Product differs from what we confirmed with you
- Wrong item sent
- Production error or defect
Defective or Damaged Products (Free Replacement or Full Refund):
- Item arrived broken or damaged
- Manufacturing defect affecting quality
- Product doesn't function as intended
- Material faults
We'll cover all return shipping costs and send a replacement immediately or refund you in full - your choice.
Because each item is custom-made specifically for you, we cannot accept returns for:
- Change of mind
- Errors in your uploaded content (spelling mistakes, wrong photos, etc.)
- Color variations due to monitor/screen differences
- Normal minor variations in handcrafted items
- Subjective quality concerns (when product matches preview)
This is why we provide a comprehensive preview tool - to ensure you're completely happy before production begins.

- Provide your order number and description of the issue
- Include clear photos showing the problem
- We'll review and respond within 24 hours
- If replacement is needed, we'll arrange collection and rush your new item
Refund Processing: Once approved, refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method. Replacement items are prioritized and typically dispatched within 2-3 business days.
You can cancel or modify your order free of charge within 2 hours of placing it, or until we send your production confirmation email - whichever comes first.
To cancel or change: Contact us immediately at support@photoongifts.com or via live chat with your order number.
Once production has begun (you'll receive a confirmation email), cancellation may not be possible. If cancellation is necessary:
- Contact us immediately
- We'll check your order status
- If production has started, cancellation may incur production costs
- We'll always try to accommodate urgent situations
Need to change the delivery address? Please contact us immediately. We can update the address before shipping. Once shipped, you'll need to coordinate with the courier directly using your tracking information.
- One promotional code per order
- Cannot be combined with other offers unless stated
- Valid only during the specified promotional period
- We reserve the right to modify or cancel promotions
- Excludes shipping costs unless specified
- Must be entered at checkout - cannot be applied retroactively

We take our responsibilities seriously, but we also need to be clear about limitations:
We are liable for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- Defective products under consumer protection law
- Breaches of these terms caused by our negligence
We are not liable for:
- Delays caused by courier services, customs, or events beyond our control
- Indirect losses (lost profits, missed opportunities, etc.)
- Issues arising from incorrect information you provided
- Copyright infringement in content you uploaded
Maximum liability: Where we are liable, our maximum liability is limited to the value of your order, except where prohibited by law.
We're not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters, pandemics, or extreme weather
- War, terrorism, or civil unrest
- Government restrictions or regulations
- Strikes or labor disputes
- Supplier or courier failures
- Power outages or technical failures
We'll notify you as soon as possible if such events affect your order and work to find alternative solutions.

Most issues are resolved at the first stage. We genuinely want you to be happy with your purchase.

- UK customers: These terms are governed by English law
- EU customers: These terms are governed by English law, with EU consumer protection directives applying
- US customers: These terms are governed by the laws of the state where the product is delivered
- New Zealand customers: These terms are governed by New Zealand law
- South African customers: These terms are governed by South African law
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted here with a new "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be notified via email to registered customers.
Continued use of our service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.
